Pretty interesting. The effects seems more closely related to a summoner, but the name seems like something that Anet originally wanted the paragon to be.

Well fixes some of the tech lore, as it would teleport obstructions around with magic instead of the remote thingy, and drop (Asura) Gate Crystals, warping a building or gate to that location
(probs after 3 seconds so you could get out of the way of having a house fall on you).

I on re-reading it noticed an interesting element in the Spehiroth, that you can drop a gate rune and then the effect would be like maintained at that location at the cost of energy regeneration, that is interesting as allows for more control over your built things.
Both allowing you to free the way when your allies need to pass through, limiting the amount of long duration effects you could have up and allowing foes to get rid of the biggest problems by killing you which ends anything you'd be maintaining.
It would work quite well, and be less like a spirit spammer.

Prob is though, if it is a gate keeper/master what kind of forts would it create, and what kind of puppets go with it.

Also for those who would claim Asuran gates are technological, I say if it floats in the air is made with shiny crystals and gives of purple glitters and sparks, it looks pretty magical to me.

I actually the Scholar now, but Dralspire haven't changed it yet.
And yes I have asked him already.

Thanks for the comments anyway^^.
I really like the clockworks and siege lore the Sholer gives but I also like the magical structures.
Okay options again^^!

The Castellan/Mechanist
-They are based on Machines and Stuff, and they have Puppets along with them to assist allies and hamr foes.
And also you may drop a Sensoring Device which tells these Puppets to go to tht location and build Structures, Forts and etc.

The Mystic/Sage
-The Mystic bring dolls and puppets in battle and they augment life into them with the help of Grenth/Dwayna(please choose^^).
And then they would drop runes summoning a magical aura then with the help of the puppets they would give some of their energy(mana) to the Rune or Crystal magicaly summoning an Ancient and Mystic Structure.

So Technoloy vs Magic, which?
But I like the Castellan better, I love European Seige-Wars^^.
But I also like the Mystical yet Mysterious Group/Guild of People who make structures using Magic.
Both I think goes with the GW Lore^^.
And I used Soul Linking to help manage energy, But Mordakkai said it was too overpowered, So I am not sure where to go right now^^.

You can't do that with clockworks, a clockwork must be completely commanded as soon as it is created.
So you make on and pre-program it, like the paper with holes in it that goes into a winding organ.
You'd need to be a clairvoyant to punch holes for a beacon you will drop in a few minutes because you don't know where yet.

It's like, make a clock work and tell it.
"5 steps forwards, 2 steps left, attack"
Clockworks can't understand 'if' and 'when', because those require changes after starting; without if and when it should be impossible to command them to go to a beacon and do something, if/when the location of that beacon is unknown at the time the clockwork is created.

What you could do is make a clock work that does 1 thing, like hop around in circles and knockdown foes it bumps into.
Pick it up by using it, carry it to where you want it, use a command skill like "Build wall" and drop it.
That is something clockworks are good at, they are simple built and can be repeatedly modified.

They are also wonderful as a trap that places itself again after it has fired.
